Maldives Volunteer Program

Funded by AusAID, the Maldives Volunteer Program will build on the Maldives Pilot Volunteer Program to improve the delivery of key public services in the Maldives through helping to build and strengthen capacity in the education sector. This will be achieved through the provision of highly skilled educational specialists in areas such as education for children with special needs and learning disabilities; curriculum development; teaching and learning methodologies; and technical and vocational training. The program will see volunteers placed in the Maldives from January 2011.
